RevPi Compact

The new RevPi Compact complements the KUNBUS Revolution Pi family from end October 2020. It is a powerful and cost-optimized compact controller based on the Raspberry Pi 3+ Compute Module with extensive connection options and functions.

Sensors and actuators can each be connected via eight digital and analog inputs as well as eight digital and two analog outputs. Thanks to two Ethernet interfaces, each with its own MAC address, the device can be simultaneously integrated into two different networks. In addition, four USB A ports and a 4-pole RS485 interface are integrated.

As with all other components in this product range, KUNBUS is also pursuing the open source concept with the RevPi Compact, allowing users to implement their projects with maximum design freedom. Due to its flat design, it is easily possible to install the device in a distribution cabinet, e.g. for building automation. RevPi Compact is configured using the PiCtory browser application, which is already pre-installed. The operating system is a customized Raspbian with real-time patch. Individual applications can be programmed via Node-RED, Python, directly in C etc. The popular industrial protocols Modbus RTU and Modbus TCP are supported by default. Optionally (at extra charge) ready-made, professional software solutions like Codesys or logi.CAD can also be used.
